Eating Quiznos Sandwiches Will Help End Homelessness
The founder of Quiznos has decided to start a new business called “America’s Road Home.” Richard and Cheryl Schaden will hold fundraisers and actually market a movie on homelessness, where the proceeds will go toward ending homelessness.
The proceeds of their work will be donated to cities and counties that have adopted 10-year plans to end homelessness. The goal is to create a steady stream of revenue to help these plans.
Schaden said fighting homelessness is important to him because both he and his wife have had relatives who have ended up on the streets. One of the relatives had had medical problems while another lost a job and was too embarrassed to let the rest of the family know, he said.
"What it tells you is that anybody can end up there," Schaden said. "With a volatile economy it can happen pretty quickly."

Too bad the money will not do anything for the homeless.
How sad that a blog like this is so typical in that you don't do ANY research into what you write. This guy Schaden is close to being a scam artist and all you did was play into his latest scam/pr move.
The story of Rich Schaden is simple, he bought a company and turned into a money machine for himself by locking his franchisees into agreements that made them indentured servants. Want to know the real Rich Schaden? When Schaden had one of his franchisee that HE sued commit suicide after he saw his life destroyed by being dragged through the legal system by a billion dollar heartless company, Schaden then sued the other franchisees that published the suicide letter!
Yeah he cares about the homeless my ass. He cares about himself and now that he being sued by hundreds of franchisees he's trying to make himself look good to the public, "oh look at me and what I've done" is what he'll say. He's playing you guys in the media for fools, just like he did to his franchisees.
