Homeless Man Killed By Bow and Arrow

Here in Los Angeles, we’ve been hearing on the local television news about a man found dead on a street in Lancaster, a city just north of Los Angeles. Although reports of death are not new in this mega-urban region. This one had a strange twist.

This man had an arrow in his chest.

Now, the reports are that he was a homeless person. All across the country, we have heard about homeless people being beaten up with baseball bats, or even shot. But I think this is the first time we have heard about people on the streets being killed with a bow and arrow.

Let’s hope this is the first and last. I certainly hope it is not a serial act, a vigilante-type person crazy enough to go after hurting people.
