Halliburton or it's division Kellogg, Brown & Root was awarded a $385 Million contract to build a network of detention centers in the USA for future emergencies. Given to them by "Homeland Security". There were no other bids for the contract. They get a lot of government contracts dating back to the Viet Nam war era.
It may be unrelated to the use of (illegal) immigrants by other construction company's working near the Military bases to provide housing for soldiers. Pres Bush's family has ties to that company as does VP Cheney.
A homeless friend told me they are rounding up homeless in Orange County to take them to a prototype camp. I never found info about it, thought him paranoid. With the closing of Winter shelters and lack of adequate ones, now wonder, if he knew what he was talking about. With all the redevelopment in Long Beach, long term homeless were ousted from their long time camps.
From what I read on the Internet, this is going on across the country, getting rid of river campers. Could it be a planned effort to detain them (us) in those new detention centers?
