State Will Track Who Benefits From Affordable Housing Bond

In response to last week’s Sacramento Bee article on Proposition 46, the $2.1 billion affordable housing bond, the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) will track where the funding is going. Reported today in the Sacramento Bee, a department spokesperson said, “More information is always better.” Read here.
More than half of the bond money has already been spent on affordable housing for students, firefighters, battered women, seniors, and the homeless.
“The numbers will tell the truth,” states a spokesperson from Housing California, a statewide coalition of housing advocates, developers, and nonprofit groups. (PATH is a member of this group.)
Although it took nearly a week for the HCD to respond to the Sacramento Bee, it is good that they will make sure that funds will be appropriately spent for housing the poor and homeless. (Although, it seems to me that auditing public funds—especially $2.1 billion—should be a standard practice; not a response to a newspaper article.)

why don't we decrease homeless, HOW TO DO IT BETTER, BECAUSE OUR VIOLENCE, and our homeless, all that we are as a Nation reflects on all of us world wide? Fined if we don't throw our trash in the right bin but then we murder unborn babies and throw them into trash cans and the ocean-irony?
Per the flwng: IS AMERICA THE NEXT SODOM AND GOMORRAH? The ancient rabbis say that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of the
way they treated the homeless. As one story goes, they would give gold bricks to homeless people instead of food but the gold was inscribed with the owners name so they could not use it and after they died of hunger the gold bricks went back to the owners... Another story tells that they would purposefully provide a bed that was too long or too short and they try and make the homeless person fit the bed... if they were too short they would stretch them on the rack. If they were too long for the bed, they would cut
their legs off to make them fit.... When we try to make homeless or widows conform to the way we think they should behave then we are doing the same thing spiritually.
Anyhow, I was referring to the great feast outside of time. God will treat us how we treat others in need. per a Pete
SO, we should not care how people look or smell and we should be willing to get in the trenches where they're battered and their bloodied. Can someone say this about you, that you will give someone the shirt off your back if you didn't have another one to put on not that you would like it but you would still do it, as a man it's not a big deal; for a woman it's someone of a big deal and you'll be a friend to anyone that needs one and you shouldn't care how people look or smell and you go after the unlovely the ones no one else wants, can't say that about these two and whoever else is going to jump on the bandwagon to be a part of for whatever reason, like a repeat of the movie "backdraft"!
